The Announcement:
As you read below you will see, the very important first steps to getting started and also the announcement of our new meeting format. When, where and how often. So read on and enjoy and don't be a spectator. Be a pioneer! A trailblazer!

I am very excited about working with our people and our people working together. I am talking with a lot of people friends and associates as well as new people I meet and overwhelmingly the reply is a positive one. Our peoples want to share, help and look to each other for support. It is time as everyone is agreeing that we do this. The time is right. there are people interested because they need help and people interested just because they want to help. I want to thank everyone showing an interest and helping me and us with the dream of world black cooperation.
As we do this an action plan is very important. I have so many ideas and continue to get ideas from all of you and from the books on networking that I'm reading. However, if we don't take action on them they won't do us any good. Momentum is so important in anything we wish to do. Especially if we wish to do it in a big way. To get momentum you have to get the ball rolling. So in the coming weeks as we talk and meet lets decide what the steps are and TAKE THEM, together and get the ball rolling and growing.
The steps:
The steps which we will be discussing are going to include these, so please take action on them and call if you have any questions.
1. Join the Mighty People Mailing List
2. Subscribe to the Mighty People Newsletter
3. Join the Pro-mo-tions forums (WB-NWA)
4. Take inventory of your needs and values
These steps are very important to establish a communications channel between all of us. If we establish that everything can happen from there. We could get news out. We could plan things. Share ideas. Train. etc etc.
Meetings:
Another very beneficial thing will be to attend the meetings that we plan. After the first meeting that we had, which I consider a success considering...it was our first. We found the question lurking when was the next, what was the follow up. So I am setting up a schedule and a plan.
1. I will be doing "1 hour powers meetings".
2. Once a month Networking Summit Meetings
1. ))) ONE HOUR POWER MEETINGS:
** Start on time.
** End on time.
** And Blow all through it.
There is so much to talk about, plan and share. So much opportunity, so many possibilities. So I have to meet frequently. But I want everyone participating to know that their whole evening is not going to be taken up.
These meetings will be:
** Introductions to networking and the WB-NWA
** Making the first steps and why
** And continuing to make progress. Step by step to becoming Networking Pro's.
Certain ones may be for planning, nutz and boltz...kinda meetings. I will try to announce in some form or another the agenda for each meeting. The first ones will definitely be the format above. I need to get a group of people up to where I am as far as the networking systems and ideas that I have in mind and have planned so far. Once we get to that point, it gets really exciting, because we can start to really open up and get more and more ideas from everyone.
We will be meeting at:
Barnes and Noble Booksellers
235 Union ST
Waterbury, CT
In the Brass Mill Plaza, right next to the Brass Mill Center (Mall)
Weekly Schedule:
Every Wednesday at 06:00
Every Friday at 08:00
Don't wonder if I will be there or not. I will. If I will not I will send a cancellation note to the list.
Do you know how many hours in a week?
Answer: 168
Do you know how many hours out of your week it would take you to participate to change your life and make a difference in the lives of many others?
Answer: 2
(maybe 3 or 4 if you add transportation in for some of us)
4 hours out of 168 really can change the lives of many.
I believe it! Do you? Come on, B there people.
2 ))) ONCE A MONTH NETWORKING SUMMIT MEETINGS:
** We expect larger attendance
** Various locations
** We will participate in Networking training and discussions
** We will participate in Networking activities: opportunities to meet many and make network connections
** We will discuss "The WB-NWA"
** We will present many of the ideas, that have been developed at the smaller more frequent nuts and bolts type meetings.
I will try to announce these meetings one month in advance.

OK you all, well I'm not going to try to cover everything at once, I will be writing more frequently to cover different topics, issues and plans. So make sure you read each issue. The meetings start Wednesday June 8, 2005. Look forward to seeing you there.
PS - I don't expect to be meeting there for too long because I expect the size of the group will grow to the point that they will not allow it. but we find another location and announce it.
